Dream Teller
Med inspiration fra kunstnere som Joni Mitchell, David Crosby, Dirty Projectors og Blake Mills, er Dream Teller's tekster og fortællinger de primære drivkræfter bag deres arbejde. Alle medlemmer har omfattende karrierer, der spænder bredt inden for musikspektret, hvilket er mærkbart fra første lyt. Lyden bevæger sig gennem improvisation, omhyggelige arrangementer, rige vokalharmonier og melodier, der bliver hængende i dine ører selv efter koncerten. De personlige tekster kombineret med det høje musikalske niveau fortryller straks lytteren med deres glædelige, kalejdoskopiske, følelsesmæssige og maleriske lydlandskaber.
Indtil nu har Dream Teller koncentreret deres kreative aktivitet omkring mini-albummet "Undiscovered Color" (2020), albummet "A Dream We Didn't Know About" (2022) samt to singler - "Together" og "Center Your Love" (begge fra 2022). For nylig har musikerne optrådt sammen ved Usedomer Music Festival (Tyskland); den lettiske Nationale Symfoniorkester Festival "LNSO Vasarnīca"; festivalen "Voicingers" (Letland), samt lavet en live koncertoptagelse i samarbejde med Wise Music Society, i anledning af International Jazz Day (2021). Kristīne og Edgars optrådte også specielt som en del af et samarbejde med Latvian Radio Big Band, hvor de arrangerede tre sange fra bandets repertoire.
Dream Teller er:

- Svens Vilsons – guitar og vokal.

Drawing influence from artists such as Joni Mitchell, David Crosby, Dirty Projectors, and Blake Mills, Dream Teller’s lyrics and storytelling are the main driving forces behind their work. All members have extensive careers reaching broadly in the musical spectrum, which is noticeable from the very first listen. The sound moves through improvisation, meticulous arrangements, rich vocal harmonies, and melodies that will stick around in your ears even after the concert. The personal lyrics combined with the high level musicianship immediately enchant the listener with their joyful, kaleidoscopic, emotional, and picturesque soundscapes.
The lyrics explore human connections, struggles, and responses to significant events and environments. The band guides us through a narrative that metaphorically addresses political issues by drawing parallels between our experiences and nature. It delves into the travel experiences of a young couple in distant lands, depicting their connection and yearning for roots, as well as the learnings we receive from dwelling in reflecting on our dreams.
Until now, Dream Teller has concentrated their creative activity on the mini-album Undiscovered Color (2020), the album A Dream We Didn't Know About (2022), as well as two singles - Together and Center Your Love (both 2022). Recently, the musicians have performed together at the Usedomer Music Festival (Germany); the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra Festival "LNSO Vasarnīca''; the "Voicingers" festival (Latvia), as well as made a live concert recording in cooperation with the Wise Music Society, marking the International Jazz Day (2021). Kristīne and Edgars also made a special appearance as part of a collaboration with the Latvian Radio Big Band, by arranging three songs from the repertoire for the band.
