Fallen Flags - A Cross-City Collaboration in Alternative Music

Prepare to immerse yourself in a musical exploration that transcends borders and genres.
"Fallen Flags" is an innovative project uniting five young and forward-thinking musicians from Aalborg (DK), Gothenburg (SWE), Bergen (NO) and Vilnius (LT) in a unique artistic collaboration where experimental soundscapes, improvisation and genre fusion take center stage.

The ensemble features:

• Erik Lunde - trumpet, synths, etc. (Aalborg)
• Krzysztof Maciejko - double bass (Aalborg)
• Klara Goliger - piano, synths and keys (Gothenburg)
• Daiyen Jone Castro - various flutes and electronics (Bergen)
• Viltė Gustytė - DIY instruments, radio receivers, guitar and noise (Vilnius)

Over the course of three intensive days, the musicians will meet for rehearsals and studio sessions at KORMA in Aalborg, exploring new sonic territories and developing original material. The project culminates in two live performances, where audiences will experience the music as it emerges - spontaneous, experimental and deeply collaborative.

Rooted in the realms of jazz, experimental and improvised music, Fallen Flags aims to strengthen the bonds between these four creative cities and establish lasting artistic connections across borders.
